Dragon’s Event 2010

Tradeworks  Custom Products once again took part at the ‘Social Enterprise Dragon’s’ event sponsored by Vancity Community Foundation and JDQ Systems, April 22, 2010.  We had a booth for the evening in the lobby of the Vancity Theatre where we had lots of great exchanges.  The lobby was filled with great social enterprises.

Early in the proceedings, Ross Gentleman reported out to the audience of several hundred on our project, the winner of last year’s award.  Tradeworks Custom Products received many hours of advice and concrete suggestions on new practices, from JDQ systems, as well as a grant from the Foundation.

Vancity Foundation is a key contributor to the growth of social enterprise in the region, and deserves lots of kudos. And we wish this year’s winner all the best, Pivot Legal LLP!

The event is organized in conjunction with Lululemon owner Chip Wilson’s annual Chip’s Not Dead Yet Memorial Mile fundraiser on behalf of the hospital. (more…)
